Kym Weekes Wake Up candidate for B Ward Kym Weekes is a long-time northern beaches resident and owner of JubiJubi Café and Restaurant in Balgowlah. She is active in the local community, both in children’s sport as the sub-junior registrar of Seaforth Football Club since 2003 and in other local community activities. Kym has a particular interest in local traffic management.
Prior to moving from Manly to North Manly with her family in late 2006, Kym was chairperson of the Ivanhoe Park Precinct Group in Manly from 2003 - 2004. During this time she worked closely with Manly Council as a community representative, on the precinct’s new local area traffic management plan, which was adopted by Council in 2004.
Kym has over 10 years’ experience in the legal and property industry and has had several years’ experience in small business.
